What the report says

2 Sep 2026 at 2:24 pm UTC | Last updated: 5 Sep 2026 at 2:54 pm UTC By Liam Squires-HandJSAUX had a few announcements lately including pretty cool looking Steam Machine E-Ink and Pixel Matrix faceplates, along with controllers.
Their first own-brand controller is the VOIDJOY SkyLark S1 Pro Portable Controller. A really compact little device good for those of you travelling or if you just prefer something smaller. GamingOnLinux does have one on the way from JSAUX, which is unfortunately held up by UK customs - so hopefully I can take a proper look soon.

From the press release sent to GamingOnLinux:

"The VOIDJOY SkyLark S1 Pro is a compact portable controller designed for flexible play across different gaming setups.

It supports 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth and USB-C wired connections across compatible devices.
The controller features recessed dual TMR sticks with magnetic sensing for precise analog input. Their lower-set position helps keep the S1 Pro compact and easy to carry, while making it easier to store in a bag or other compact spaces.
Optical quick-switch triggers give players two input options for different types of games. Analog Mode provides full-range, pressure-sensitive input for racing and simulation games, while Quick Mode shortens actuation for faster responses in shooters and action games. Players can switch between the two modes using a dedicated button.
A single included 2.4GHz receiver can connect up to two S1 Pro controllers, allowing users to switch between connected controllers without swapping receivers.

Through KeyLinker, users can remap buttons, adjust stick and trigger settings, configure macros and install firmware updates.
The VOIDJOY SkyLark S1 Pro supports Windows, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, SteamOS, Android, and Apple devices. The controller is not compatible with PlayStation 5 or Xbox consoles."

For what you get - the $49.99 price seems quite reasonable actually. You can find it on their store for pre-order and shipping expected later in September.
